The True Story of the First Thanksgiving
This is the true story of Thanksgiving, as told by Kaitlyn The Pilgrims are people, they had superpowers to fight against the bad guys. They wore clothes, but not any kind of clothes, they wore princess dresses that are pink and blue. Don't forget the sparkly tiaras. The way that they had all got to the Plymouth was that they flew. They flew with their pretty pink, glittery wings. The Mayflower trip was a dance party, that was princess themed. The dance party also had a bunch of colorful lights. The reason why they had a Thanksgiving feast is because they got Christmas presents afterwards. They also got candy too. The people they invited to their feast were Princess Rapunzel, and also SpongeBob SquarePants. He wore a black suit. Samoset was the Pilgrams friend because he was their BFF, and also because his mother was nice to them. The food that they ate were Trick-or-Treat candy, that were big and the colors were red, blue, yellow, and pink. They also ate chicken and fries. The place that they sat at was a purple porch that had bright pink flowers. Finally their houses, they were purple mansions and they were as big as skyscrapers. Now that’s the true story of the first Thanksgiving. The True Story of the First Thanksgiving As told by Angie This is the true story of the first Thanksgiving. The Pilgrims went to Plymouth on a boat called the Mayflower. At first, there was no wind, but later the wind came back. Then the Pilgrims set out for Plymouth. Then, they came to a big storm! Luckily, the Pilgrims made it through. They made it to Plymouth. The Pilgrims decided to make a feast for people who didn't have food, but they didn't have enough food for a feast! Fortunately, the good king Samoset gave them plenty of food for a feast. They invited all the people who didn't have food to come to their feast. The Pilgrims were nice people. At the feast, the Pilgrims and the people without food sat in big chairs made of string. They were surprisingly sturdy and comfortable. They ate eggs and eggs only at the feast. I have done EXTREME research and found out many things. For this, I went to the Kindergarteners for answers. Colton was the kid I asked and here is what he said... The Pilgrims were these human people. They wore blue hats, brown shirts and black pants. They had big houses with roofs made of straw, the bottom and walls of their houses were made of wood and the doors were metal. Colton says the Pilgrims got to Plymouth by getting their boat in the water and found land. The Mayflower had a steering wheel. The trip must have been very calm... Maybe. The Pilgrims had the first Thanksgiving because they didn't have anything to eat. The Pilgrims invited the Indians to the feast and they built houses together. Colton also said that the king, Samoset joined them. They ate turkey, corn and fish. The Pilgrims sat on the ground during Thanksgiving. That is the true story of the first Thanksgiving. They wore dresses and shirts that were covered with coats. Their shoes had buckles and so did their belts. Their hats were huge. The Pilgrims got to Plymouth by cars, vans and trucks. The trip on the Mayflower was sad, but happy. At the same time it was scary because they saw stuff like bears. It was smelly because nobody took a shower. The Pilgrims found a guy named Samoset who was their friend. Because it was Thanksgiving, they were happy. Then they all ate. The Pilgrims invited a whole bunch of Indian people. Then they all started eating chicken, eggs, salad, and turkey. When they ate, they sat on the ground and chairs. Then afterwards they looked at the Pilgrims' houses. They had no food. Some other Pilgrims lived under the playground. That's the true story of Thanksgiving. The True Thanksgiving Story told by: Jacob My buddy's true story about the first Thanksgiving goes a little like this: The Pilgrims were tall people, they had brown and blue hair. The kind of stuff they dressed in were sneakers, baseball shirts, and they also had jeans. The Pilgrims had blue and white houses that they lived in. They had these awesome cars that we don't have in the present day. They are called jet cars and go really fast. The trip on the Mayflower was quite boring. On the bright side everything was blue. It was somewhat colorful. The Pilgrims had a best friend, Samoset. He was their best friend because they all ate turkey. They had a Thanksgiving feast because it was fun. They invited one person to the feast; his name was Pirate Beard. They had the best Thanksgiving ever! They sat on chairs while they started to feast. They ate some really good stuff. I wish I had some of this stuff. They had turkey, corn and eggs for the main dish. For the side dish they had soup. They also had some stuff to drink, they had blue soda or water. For dessert they had beans and oranges. They had no candy but A LOT of blue soda. Pilgrims got to Plymouth on a boat. The boat was brown, black, white, green, red, and blue. It had a flag that was red, white, and blue, and there were a lot of boats around the Mayflower. No one knows if Samoset was the Pilgrim's friend, I don't know the names of their friends. They had the Thanksgiving feast because they didn't know when Thanksgiving was. They invited a lot of people like Indians, Pilgrims, and 3 kids at the feast, I think. I didn't count them when I was reading the book. I wish I was there. For the feast they ate turkey, turkey soup, corn, deer, and had crackers that were Cheez-Its in their soup. The feast had a lot of tables and they sat on chairs and some people stood. They didn't build all of their houses in the story. One of the houses was brown, white, and black. Indians have houses too, so it wasn't a tepee. The people's houses looked like bark and trees mixed together. The trip to Plymouth in the Mayflower was gross because there were rats and the boat was old. Then the wind blew the rats blew off the boat. The people had a feast because the Indians planted corn. The Indians invited the Pilgrims to the feast to eat the corn. The Pilgrims sat on the floor, or a chair, and or in a big tree. But somehow no one ever fell off of the big tree. The Pilgrims, and Indians ate turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, fish, and squash. They drank soda pop as well like Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Coke, or Diet Coke. They were so happy when they landed in America, but they didnt know it was America until after the Thanksgiving feast. They got to Plymouth by the water. They lived in green and brown brick houses. The roofs of the houses were made of light, yellow hay. When they were going to Plymouth they rode a big, brown ship. It was very sunny on the Mayflower and they had a fun time. When they arrived they met an Indian named Samoset. He was a good Indian and the Pilgrims became friends with the Indians because the Indians gave the food to the Pilgrims. They had a Thanksgiving feast because normally the Indians did not eat. The Indians and Pilgrims were at the Thanksgiving feast. For the feast they ate corn, turkey, fish, and apple pie. They had their feast at the beach and the Pilgrims sat on big brown chairs. The Pilgrims got to the Thanksgiving feast with their brother, Jeffery. He was handsome. Pilgrims had Thanksgiving to thank the people. They invited sister Neny. Samoset was one of the friends that went to the first Thanksgiving feast. They had turkey and they had lots of fun. They sat in chairs but they didn’t have tables. The First Thanksgiving, I Think? The Pilgrims were Indians with American outfits. They wore brown shoes with brown shirts. The Pilgrims took a smelly boat so they went to sleep the whole time. When the Pilgrims showed up at Plymouth they were greeted by boy and girl fairies with dresses and wings. The reason why they went to the fairies was because they didn't know how to make food. The fairies helped them make corn and turkey. The Pilgrims needed the food so they could get big and strong. Once the Pilgrims got big and strong they made houses. The houses were brown like their outfits so they were not colorful like the fairies. The fairies made corn on the cob and turkey. Then the fairies invited the Pilgrims. They ate the food on a really big picnic table. They all ate and sat on the table. After they were all full and big and strong. As told by Kaila |
